Founded by Val Martin and Franck Bywalski, X-TREME VIDEO was born out of the action sport industry and identified potential in providing sport enthusiasts with footage rarely seen on TV. At first on VHS, then on DVD, the company now delivers quality content through a plethora of physical and digital media channels via DVD, HD-DVD, TV, VOD and Mobile platforms.

The company originally started by selling surfing and snowboarding films, and later broadened its catalogue to, include other extreme sports. The full range now includes skiing, wakeboarding, skateboarding, windsurfing, kite boarding, motocross, roadbike stunt, BASE jumping, body boarding, BMX, mountain biking, long boarding, jet skiing, snowmobile, rock climbing and many others.
