Ski Tube Escalator Viral Scores More Than 1M Views

The clip was designed to promote Mind The Gap, a Ski film by SKIFILM.NET, but things really took off when the London Underground Police issued a statement condemning the stunt as “Dangerous and Irresponsible” and saying they would arrest anyone attempting similar actions. The BBC then ran a news story about the clip, which was seen around the world.

The funny thing was that no one seemed to be able to work out who the skier was, and under English law he could not be prosecuted as the clip was filmed more than 6 months ago and no one was injured.

However, the clip has sparked off debate about whether it really was irresponsible and dangerous or just simply AWESOME!
